Butterfly

You and Nana had this butterfly project going on while Momma was pregnant, starting with actual butterfly eggs all the way through the cocoon process and into birth. A few days after we got home with Jack a cocoon hatched! You were so excited that you had to call your Nana right away to let her know the happenings. You handled it like a pro, Momma however was aghast at the thought of a Butterfly roaming free in the house, you told me not to worry. The next school day we took the last cocoon with us so that your class could hopefully see it hatch, and right after lunch it did. You got to release the butterfly with all of your little friends around you, the sun shining on you the whole time.
